Intense, deep ruby-purple in color. Bold aromas of blackberry, wild strawberry, and plum rush from the glass, along with savory tones of garrigue, crushed stones, lavender, and licorice. Broad, muscular, and tense, the palate is supported by chewy tannins. The flavors of black and red fruit are complemented by spice and a touch of smoked meat on a long, crunchy, and mineral-laden finish.
